Our modern, fully equipped operating suite enables us to perform a wide range of surgical procedures with a high level of safety, precision and professional patient care. Two operating rooms are organised in accordance with contemporary standards and equipped with the latest generation of medical technology, supporting a multidisciplinary approach to treatment.
Special attention is given to the use of modern and minimally invasive surgical techniques whenever medically indicated. This approach may contribute to reduced postoperative pain, a shorter hospital stay and a faster return to everyday activities.
Orthopaedics
In the field of orthopaedics, we perform surgical procedures for the treatment of injuries, degenerative conditions and other disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
The programme includes arthroscopic knee surgery, hip and knee replacement surgery, as well as procedures involving the foot, tendons and upper extremities. Following surgery, patients also have access to physical therapy and rehabilitation at ZTC “Banja Vrućica”.
General Surgery
In the field of general surgery, the focus is on modern, minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures.
We perform laparoscopic surgery for inguinal, umbilical and incisional hernias, as well as gallbladder surgery. A minimally invasive approach may result in less postoperative pain, a shorter hospital stay and a faster recovery.
Otorhinolaryngology – ENT
Within ENT surgery, we perform procedures for the treatment of conditions affecting the nose and paranasal sinuses, as well as functional and aesthetic corrections.
The programme includes sinus surgery, removal of nasal polyps, correction of the nasal septum, and aesthetic correction of the nose and ears.
Neurosurgery
In the field of neurosurgery, we perform spinal procedures for patients with spinal instability, pain or compression of the nerve structures.
